The world is a place of awkward dimensions. The world as I see it, constantly changes. Like tides and seasons, ebbing and flowing. Like breath, in and out, in and out. Yet no two waves make the same splash And no two breaths breathe the same air And no two hearts beat the same blood Although the rhythms can sync and become One. Bring me to any mountain, ocean, or stream, I’ll show you what I mean. The moments we spend here will hardly be wasted For the vision we’ll gain and the stories we’ll tell Of the sights that we see, and flavors we smell Will pile upon experience, like bales of golden hay And we’ll sing and dance as we realize: Every life, day, and moment Is always different, and always the same.
This poem will be included in my upcoming poetry book: A Spoonful of Poetry. I hope you enjoyed it! If you did, leave a 🤍.
A Spoonful of Poetry will be live for all to read on February 25, 2024.
