Saalik, thank you for welcoming us into your world of words as vibration. I loved getting a glimpse into words and their meaning for you, and through the love and legacy of your grandfather.

We have a word for it in Japanese: 言霊

Koto-dama, literally /say, utter, word/

+

/spirit, soul, can be also like phantom energy/

Well penned!

Really loved this line, "There is so much depth, nuance, and soul in these three words. When you hear them, they’ll dance in your ears to the rhythm of your heartbeat."

And dang, your grandfather was quite something alright. Reminds me of Allama Iqbal in the fact that he was also fluent in several languages and had a PhD. For the longest time I only knew Allama Iqbal to be a poet, but turns out a lot of people who are known for their poetry knew a LOT more and were a lot more than mere poets.

I think in my second last post (Sleeping in Laundry Rooms) I quoted a couplet from a rather long poem by the last ruler of Spain from the Abbasyd dynasty. If I didn't look up his name I would've only thought him to be some shepperd romantic like majnoon lol. And what a tragic tale is that one, majnoon and layla's. It hits harder when you learn they were real people lol.
